I have managed to score today and tomorrow off work.

I have a house with no wife or kids until late afternoon.

I have a bike with a full belly of petrol.

It is beautiful and sunny.

...did Christmas get here early and I just wasn't told about it??

Or sumpin'??

Don't question such good fortune!
What are you doing on here anyway - shouldn't you be out riding!

I have just packed the wife and rugrats off to work/school/daycare

I am sitting here in my favourite tatty dressing gown, slurping a lukewarm coffee, and destroying my secret stash of Girl Guide biscuits.

Plotting a course.

But I have all day... I feel giddy... this is rare!

I can swing by and lend a hand - "Your kid is an idiot. Must try harder or pay the next learning bracket to advance".

Not that hard really!
