I've just confirmed that my mother's plaque has been stolen from her grave. Now I've got nowhere to cry and put the flowers. Cunts.

I'm not joking by the way.

That is fuck'n low. Scumbags.

Some prick nicked the copper gutters off our local primary school over the holidays. Set them back around $7,000 and they had to pay for it themselves. That's a lot of sausages to sizzle.

Well maybe instead of banning smacking some useful polli should introduce a Private Members Bill to bring back public floggings for Adults.

Or would that actually be a useful change to the law

That might be considered common sense, no way it'll make it in to law :dodge:

Feel sorry of those people that had their craves vandalized and their families.

Saw that last night and thought "Scum". Truly, nothing is respected anymore. Sorry that one of our own is affected.

Fuckers.

If some piece of filth touched my mothers plaque (undisturbed so far, almost 18 years) I would have no hesitation in manually castrating the bastard.

May the souls these wankers have disturbed, cause them to realise what they have done to the loved ones remaining, and give them endless suffering in return.

Eh? The usual stuff, why?

Actually I'm going to go down there shortly to double check. Shit, with daylight savings over I better hurry before it gets dark. Spooky!

Would you believe I just tried to call them again to get an update and it went to some after hours call centre and they answered "XYZ Insurance..." "Huh, I wanted Purewa Cemetery." "Oh, this is their after hours booking service, would you like to make a booking?" "What?"

Really sorry to hear that Finn, I saw the article on the news and wondered how long it would be before it turned out to affect someone I knew.
Thieving fucking bastards, may they die from poisons released when they melt down the bronze, slowly and with great suffering.

She would actually laugh at that joke.

I live across the road from a cemetary and this shits nothing new...the sicko wankers out there that pinch the metal of graves are only slightly better than the drunked and drugged up shit pokers that meaninglessly smack the heads off headstones...makes me sick, and its a shitter when its strikes home personally like this.

I reckon if they find the little poop shoot goblin they should melt the brass down and make him a permanant helmet, like on the count of monte cristo but a little more firking permanant...perhaps block the air holes... (no offence MDU)

Unfortunately not much surprises me these days. Hopefully they get what's coming to them, and then hopefully the law will turn a blind eye to that.

Jesus, I'd be fuming! How would one go about replacing a plaque? I presume they're not insured or anything.

20th March 2007, 18:46
uh-oh! I'd better check on my Grandma!

Finn, is there any way of checking up apart from going out there yourself? It will be at least a week before I can get out there... is there a registry or something I can check? Someone I can call? You've got me worried now. They better not have gone near my dear old Grandma!

Bastards, absolutely shameless bastards, pray the KARMA of their deed will come back to haunt them 10000 times.

And they want to stop us disciplining kids, were all doomed!

No one gets out of this life alive.

I saw that last night and thought what losers the thieves were. Also, the scrap metal dealers need to take a long hard look at themselves too - it's not like they can honestly believe that Joe Bloggs would have a legitimate reason to be selling hundreds of metal plaques in the first place.

Totally despicable, stealing from grave sites. Probably related to the scum who tried (unsuccessfully) to steal my husband's car yesterday. I liked the way the woman interviewed on tv last night about the plaque thefts described them - "lowlife scum".

The location of the grave/butrial site must be recorded somewhere. A funeral home will put you on the right track to identify which is hers if that's the issue.

As for the plaque...not much we can do really - is there?

Hmmm, metal plaques . . . cant we just wire them up to the mains or something? Let's see the buggers nick 'em then!
