Hi. i have developed an issue with my CRF230F.
Im riding along flat tack for a couple of k's then,if i back off it starts to splutter and run like Sh*t for the next couple of k's, and it repeats all f'nday same thing. i tried running on reserve, no diffrence, running on 98 unleaded, but it runs 98 or 91 no probs, so what else could be happening?

What fuel are you running to get problems then?

But a stab in the dark would say, water or crap in the carb or fuel tank.

Blocked fuel delivery somewhere along the line - it's running out of fuel, then taking a bit of time to refill the float bowl.Off road you seldom get the distance to run long enough to run the bowl dry....but enough so when you back off it runs very lean.

Float bowl, needle and seat, fuel line, filters, tap, pick up.Work back through them all.

Could be a blocked jet. What is the inside of your tank like? Is it rusted up?
