and my credit cards, and my AA card, my UK licence, hotpoints card, one-card, Petone club membership, unused card for Silverstream driving range, loyalty card for Trax and for the Feathers and about $75.
Oh! and lets not forget the little brown leather thing they were all in.
:crybaby:

Reported it to the police who then informed me I can't drive/ride until I get a replacement licence.

Also blocked the cards with the bank. Now have to get new bank cards and change all regular payments over to the new one etc etc.

Life can be a bit of a bitch sometimes. I'm now away to  and get  :thud:

Did you have any 'Video' shop hire card in your wallet as well?

If so report them missing to the video shop.
As you are still liable should anyone hire out a video/dvd/ps2 etc from the shop.
It was on "Fair Go" a few years back about someone loosing their video card... and the person ended up with a hefty bill.

Hope you can replace your UK license with out too much hassle.

Jesus mate - I read the title and thought you'd been a bad boy!!!!

If you go to LTSA they give you a paper slip to say you've applied for a replacement don't they??

Or you only been riding on your UK licence?? (that's a barsteward to replace!)

If the police stop him for whatever reason (wof/rego check or breathe test or speeding) and he can not produce a license, when asked for it. He gets fined. Not sure how much the fine is..... the police on here will know that one.

We are by law meant to carry our license at all times, when we drive a vehicle or ride a motorbike.

So I guess, he needs to go first thing tomorrow, to the AA and get a temp paper license. I am sure they will give him one. Hawkeye needs to take proof of where he lives etc.... power bill and another id with him.

50 bucks, but most cops don't give a shit as they have to call it in anyways.

The bloody thing turned up under all the washing on the laundry floor.
The bank cards have already been blocked Internationally by visa so new cards issued and I have to endure the changeing of all of the payment details. At least I have my licence back and can use the bike for work tomorrow.

Great news you have found your wallet...

Have you notified the police that you have found your license......?
As it will be now on record as lost/stolen.

You will need to get that sorted out asap in case you get stopped for whatever reason.

Good to hear it turned up.

If you report your licence lost or stolen you can continue to drive. You do need to get a replacement but this doesn't have any effect on your legal entitlement to drive as a licence holder.

The only offence you could be liable for is failing to produce your driver licence. However if you have reported the loss to the police this is very unlikely to occur.

Thanks spudchucka. As someone in the know. I rang in the loss and the lady I spoke to went and had a look, but nothing had been handed in. She said I would need to call in to the station and fill out some forms. I never actually filled the forms in as the wallet turned up a couple of hours later. Will it still be on file?
