Think so, i didnt even gas it, i was purposefully trying not to wheely (in case i fucked up in front of everyone) now thinking of it i should have gone screaming down the road on the back wheel...

Isn't it funny how the sound of fairings sliding along the road raises all the hair on the back of your neck and makes your arse pucker at the same time?
It is such a distinctive sound.

But hey - We have now found the most premo place for peeps to do monos! (As long as they warm their tyres up first ;))

Thought id upload a few a few piccys of the damage. Ive already replaced the mirrors, and the air intake tube is in order too.

Just getting reflections to quote for the work.

If anyone knows of some fairings going cheap, give me a shout...

Yeah cheers for the repairs bro.

My rushed paint job last night doesnt do it justice. Still looks awesome from a few feet away though... note to self: schedule a whole day for painting, not 3 hours...

You cannot escape the inevitable. But preparation is indeed the key.

In the meantime...

I dunno, I'd call it realism personally... I'll take all steps possible to ensure that I don't crash, but there's always gonna be something you can't factor that'll leave you sliding along the road.

preparing to stop it yeah... but preparing for after?

Morcs
28th March 2007, 16:59
Preparation for reducing the frequency of the inevitable. Preparation for dealing and reducing the severity of the inevitable when it happens unexpectantly, and preparing for taking it like a man and dealing with it. And hopefully walking away with nothing but a bruised ego.
