I believe, and I may be wrong, but I believe it's been released as a freebie download so Polyphony can get on with GT5 properly. You probably need a PS2 GT4 disk, but then you're good to go.
So: some googling, then off down the shops with (ouch) $1200. For a farking games console. Sheeesh.

Sweetas, bikes in GT-HD = new Tourist Trophy?
More likely they've just scavenged the physics engine and bikes from TT and crudely implemented them into GT-HD. But it would be fun to see the time comparison between bikes and cars on different tracks though.
I tried to compare times between GT4 and TT. My VT250F lap time was quicker than my GTR time on Tsukuba :].
I love Tourist Trophy, I even managed to unlock everything and 100% it :].
EDIT: They've just completely redone the Tourist Trophy website for some reason, it still has all the old content on it though. This might suggest that they're planning to re-release it in HD?

Tourist Trophy was developed by the Gran Turismo guys so I don't think the physics engine will change. It will likely be more polished with a better frame rate.

wouldnt mind a ps3 , but i will wait for the price to come down. Going of xbox360 you pay big $$ to get it when it first comes out but it takes 6 months for the decent games to be released - by that time the console price has dropped.

Yea, I meant to say the anatomic rider/bike handling physics and not the game engine stuff. It's pretty clear that the game engine has been overhauled for HD, to what extent I'm not sure. But I would be suprised if you could race both bikes and cars in the same race, as on a coding level to merge those two systems could be messy.
And what about the aliasing on the fairings and dials on some of the bikes [from 1st person mode], they're terrible!
And "button-flid" - Eh?

Yeah I really want them to work on the graphics when the cars are moving, I don't know if they can do it though........
