There is no provision under the Disputes Tribunal Act 1998 for the filing fee to be recordered as part of your claim.
Lodging a claim under $1000 - $30
Lodging a claim of $1000 and over but [u]under[/i] $5000 - $50
Lodging a claim of $5000 and over - up to $12000
NB. If your claim is over $7500 and up to $12000 you need the consent of the other party. The consent form is available from the Disputes Tribunal office - $100
