Hey all.. just looking for 4 of the screws that hold the front fairing to the side fairings... should be 5ml with a hex/allen key head.

Would pay for them and shipping

Go to your local bike shop... they should have them in a variety of colours and sizes... I used to have gold ones on my ZXR then changed them to blue ones... They work out to like 50c each or cheaper the more you buy...

Industrial fastenening suppliers will have Stainless Button Head Socket Screws available. Some have minimum cash sale policies, make a list & upgrade to stainless, cost mebbe $20-$30??

The colored ones are the Oxford brands, their for the screen but the guy at the store said it should work as well. My concern with them though is my front fairing is very weak, the Oxford screws have the thread right to the head. The originals have about a 5 ml gap with no thread... I was wondering if the thread might chip away at the paint or fairing?

NO!! Many Fastener suppliers have a minimum cash sale, to prevent people wanting just 4 screws, that's why I suggested making a list of all the Mild Steel or Black screws & bolts on yer bike, then replace 'em all with shiny Stainless ones. $0.50 each from a bike shop work for me too though!

No your thinking of the "set". Those ones are for the screen and the screws are smaller than the ones that go into the fairings.

Phone up Mt Eden Cycles in Auckland. They have a hug box full of different coloured fairing bolts/screws/whatever (I only looked through the blue box, but they have gold, purple and red from memory). Measure the size of the screws you have on your fairing already and asked them to find you the same sized ones in whatever colour you want. These bolts are not Oxford ones.

Check out the coloured bolts on my fairings... there are the blue Oxford one in the windscreen... the gold ones attaching the top fairings to the side fairings and the rest are blue (see the bolt holding on the mudguard) etc...

I paid about $0.50 each, but got discounts on the overall price from the sales guy :)

Dammit, I misread the title. I own a ZXR 250C and thought you were looking for action. Nevermind, I'll just move along.

Nice bike

Oh ok, I've used the Oxford ones  Seem to be ok, will keep an eye on them.

By any chance you wouldn't be able to undo the sub frame bolt and measure that for me? It seems my one has gone

Thank you sooo much!!! Stupid me :slap: I just realized tonight that one bolt has come out from the right side, the left one is still there... so I can take that and get another one :woohoo:
