I am pleased to announce that the latern, in memory of Uncle B, was passed to Lissa tonight.

Lissa will carry on the newbie training weekly update now known as "The Mentor - Newbie Training Update".

In the same spirit as I set out on, I look forward to Lissa's reports of her progress through the graduated licencing system and her brief discussions on topics as and when they come to the surface about her and our riding techniques and general practice. I encourage our site mentors and senior experienced riders to support Lissa through the period of her graduated licence, following which the latern shall be passed on.

The weekly threads of Where Did You Ride and What Did You Practise? will continue at Lissa's discretion and whatever variety and twist she may want to adopt to this general theme of newbie rider training.

Thank you Lissa, I look forward to reading your weekly update, and I trust you will receive the same enjoyment and encouragement that I received over the last 10months.

Heads Up and Enjoy
[And many green reps to Lissa]

Thank you Guy. :) I will start my weekly thread on Monday, and I will need all the help I can get, I still consider myself a very green noob. Look forward to writing my reports and getting some good feedback, which is what I need the most. I mostly miss pming UB with my stupid embarrassing questions that I couldnt bear myself to ask in public, but will have to get over that one.

Cheers
Mel

Don't forget about the noob ride and then post about what a grand time you had, how we all looked after you, you got tons of helpful tips and it generally made you a better rider! LOL
Anyway, keep up the good work.
