All of these are legitimate companies dealing in regular products and services, but they (obviously) didn't think their domain names through. Some of them are prime candidates for the "What was I thinking?" Award....

ALL these websites actually exist, selling something totally benign (and work-safe,in case you're wondering).

1. A site called 'Who Represents' where you can find the name of the agent that represents a celebrity. Their domain name is

www.whorepresents.com.

2. Experts Exchange, a knowledge base where programmers can exchange advice and views at

www.expertsexchange.com

3. Looking for a pen? Look no further than Pen Island at

www.penisland.net

4. Need a therapist? Try Therapist Finder at

www.therapistfinder.com.

5. Then of course, there's the Italian Power Generator company -

www.powergenitalia.com.

6. And now, we have the Mole Station Native Nursery, based in New South Wales:

www.molestationnursery.com

7. If you're looking for IP computer software, there's always

www.ipanywhere.com

8. Welcome to the First Cumming M-ethodist Church. Their website is

www.cummingfirst.com

9. Then, of course, there's these brainless art designers at Speed of Art, and their whacky website:

www.speedofart.com

10. Want to go on holiday in Lake Tahoe? Try their brochure website at

www.gotahoe.com

Not quite as racy, but I always used to laugh when I'd get jokes from a mate's mate who worked for House of Travel... katie@hot.co.nz. Never verified the e-mail address against expectations though.

One of the wifes Aussie girlfriends is married to a John Thomas. Not quiet in the same league but I cracked up when she told me. Parents have obviously not read D H Lawence or heard of Lady Chatterly's Lover.

Did he end up going over to Australia? When I was working for Brisbane Police, they got me to page him once... ah well, the sight of uniformed coppers rolling around on the floor giggling like hysterical children did my heart good anyway.

W*nkers.

It reminds me of the time a local authority in the UK introduced an obscenity filter on their email system. The day they activated it not one email got through - every single email was quarantined - mainly inoffensive ones - the reason was in the email addresses the all contained the word Scunthorpe!

You'll never see the acronym for Fish and Game, FaG for obvious reasons. I heard a rumour that at the time of name changing from The Acclimatiation Society it nearly became Game and Fish but GaF was no better.
