A reminder that it's the second-to-last round of the Vic Club Winter Series at Manfeild this coming Saturday 29th August.

There's been some great racing so far in the series, no reason to expect it to be different this time around.

Practice will start around 9.30am and racing around 11.00am.

There'll be several KBers racing (as far as I know: SVS, Mitch, Sparky Bills, Nicko, hopefully Racey Rider) and quite a few of us there spectating.

It's always a good day out. I'll try to remember to bring some KB posters to put in some of the KBer's pit gargres.

Yep. I'll be there with The Man again, although there's no telling how alert I might be after finishing night shift Friday morning, driving to Te Puke, then down to Feilding after lunch!

My bike is starting to look like a bike again!
just got to fit new handle bar clip-ons.
Exhaust all welded up and polished, fairings all cleaned up, new knee sliders, all I need now is money!

I will be up there on Saturday and Sunday!
Will take any chance to get on the track!
Couple more racers will be there too, will have Vid cam on a coulple of the bikes too.
So everyone wear your best gears and clean your bikes!
Only one rule...
NO CRASHING!!!
Its only a fun day on Sunday, not a race day.

A good day at the track for me - the weather was shit on the trip up there, but at the track it stayed dry all day. It was fairly cold, but not too windy.

Good to catch up with the KB'ers there (Slim, SVS, Sparky Bills, Nicko, Mitch, Hooks).

Mitch: hope you've recovered okay from your off.

Hope you all had a safe trip back home.

The weather was good, But I did not have the greatest day.
I could not brush off the cob-webs from last round when i crashed. I was doing about 3secs slower lap times than I can do! The second race TWO plug leads came off the caps!! So just stayed out there on two cylinders just to get some points. Last race I just was not there(in mind).
Track day the next day was good. Just had some fun with mates. Weather was good again too.
Look forward to the next round. Will try to get up there on some practice days, So I am ready. See you all up there! Look for #55 in clubmans. (or maybe f3 next round) :cool2:
