SOLD!

Wicked military-style Suzuki GN250, have a look at the pictures below.
Warranted, registered and ready to learn on, commute, or tour NZ.
I have painted and attached bits over the past year but now I have my full license and a bigger bike so I'm sadly selling.
I will deliver anywhere in NZ, see the bottom of the listing for prices.
It is also listed on Trademe here (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=93620070) with more pictures, so look at that too.

Old yet reliable. I rode it Auckand to Wellington in a weekend and I would be confident of doing it again tomorrow.
It is a solid bike.
Capable of cruising at 100km on the motorway.
Awesome around town, it has heaps of torque so you can beat boy-racers at the lights (for 40m or so, until they catch up!)
A big pack-rack, to carry your groceries or books.
Lockable ammo box panniers, to store tools or food or whatever.
It is really economical, I get 210 kilometers from 8 litres of petrol.
It is a four-stroke engine just like a car, so there is no messing around with mixing oil in.
All parts are still available new from your local motorcycle shop.

FEATURES:
As you can see in the pictures:
Ammunition box panniers.
Knobbly tyre on front mudguard.
Guns.
Camo seat.
Camo fork covers.
Rear wheel disc (removed to get the Wof, but I will put it back on for you, easily done.)
All-black engine.
Brand-new Pirelli City-Demon front tyre.
Enough mojo to win a war.

EXTRAS:
Owners manual on CD
Full Workshop manual on CD

Bad things about it:
It's got a few dents in the exhaust, The right handlebar is an inch further back than the left one because I dropped it and bent it a little bit. One drop of oil per week leaks from where the clutch cable goes in. (It has been like that since I got it and is not a problem.) There is some surface rust on the exhaust, and the back of one indicator is cracked, but those things don't affect the performance or stop it from getting a warrant.
(It passed its last Wof without needing anything done!)

So buy it! Where else are you going to get such an awesome bike that a learner can ride?

Test-rides are welcome, I am in Wilton / Wadestown, in Wellington City.

Delivery costs;
Wellington to Auckland $250.
Hamilton $230.
Nelson $290.
Christchuch $320.
Dunedin $370.00

Well done steam. Good luck on getting your money. Worth every cent I'd say.

What are you going to replace it with?

What are you going to replace it with?

Ah, I have already replaced it with a CX400 Euro (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=57113&d=1174903063), which is quite pretty. I also got a cheap old SR250, which is now black, with skulls and knobbly tyres and other mad bits.
With the money from the sale of this... maybe some saving towards a BMW? Heck I don't know. I will put it in the bank in a special account to put towards another bike next year. Or give the money to my folks to hold on to so I don't spend it. I tend to spend money that's in my account.

I love it, that is the most original bike I have seen for a long time, well ever I guess. What type of breakfast cereal are you on? good luck with the sale, that gives me an idea for a paint scheme for my boy's AD50...
