A couple of times in the last few weeks I've had to quit in disgust because KB won't load. Or it will load, then from my perspective the server seems to time out or something and nothing loads. All other sites work fine. The next day it will be okay.
I'm using firefox and tried explorer, same problem.
I'm with Telstra Cable 2mbs broadband.

Got the same problems lately with KB. Like Steam, I've given up in disgust.

Customers are having issues all over, some Orcon customers aren't getting routes overseas, Xtra customers experiencing latency issues, especially outside of normal business hours...NZ's internet access in general seems to be in a shit state at the moment, I doubt anyone's problems are at their end, I also doubt Spank's server is to blame.

I gave up last night, was going so slow.

I have rung Telstra a couple of times recently due to slow speed, waited for their slow service center to answer only to be told some dumb shit like:
"I looks fine from our end"
"It could be a lot of people are usinging it at the moment"
"Try unplugging the power from the modem" - they said it needs resetting like this each month??
"Run a speed test, your download speed is fine"
"Thanks for your call, please call again"

I've been having trouble accessing Internet sites from home for three weeks now. I'm on Dialup with Paradise.net (TelstraClear). It's not a connection problem, it's an IP packet routing problem.

Work (Telecom I think) is also having Internet outages.

Something major is happening somewhere.


Had Telstra ring home last night asking how satisfied I was with the web. I said recently that performance has been very slow and many sites/services had no response. They therefore recommended that my household upgrade to boardband because it's quicker etc ... sorry pal, I didn't fall of the last tree and know this won't solve the problem. Those cheeky buggers trying this sort of scam on their own user base :angry:

Every three months Telestra rings me up asking to switch to broadband and very frequently I get direct marketed with broadband promotional material in the post :nono:

What's this accessing KB at work ? I thought it was just me that did that. I'll have to see if I can get it blocked for all but very special people when I am there next week lol
