Funny that the guy behind the barrier doesn't flinch though huh?

They said it was too extensively damaged to repair - and I think they said something about it being one of only 400 produced - ouch!

He seemed to be going really slowly so he must be a crap driver to crash so badly! You'd think they'd have tyre barriers instead of concrete!

Eddie Griffin crashed a $1.5 million Ferrari Enzo (only 400 were ever made) while practicing for a charity race to promote his new movie Redline yesterday. Griffin said:

"Undercover Brother's good at karate and all the rest of that, but the brother can't drive."
The Ferrari belonged to the producer of Redline, who said:

"I'm glad Eddie came out of the crash okay, but my dream car got destroyed. I went to my trailer for about 15 minutes and I thought, 'There's people dying every day. A lot of worse things are happening in the world.' "

I dunno man, if Eddie Griffin crashed my Ferrari Enzo the next day's headlines would read "Eddie Griffin strangled to death and then stabbed and then shot a couple times by angry Enzo owner." Although that'd be kind of a long headline. They could use a small font or something.

NOTE: Yes, Eddie Griffin actually referred to himself as Undercover Brother.

One of the producers Porsche's was destroyed during filming as well (value around $200,000 US)

Would have made more sense.

His excuse on the news was a cone got stuck under the wheel so wouldn't turn?

I didn't see one in the clip though

As my husband said, if you ran over a cone, wouldn't BRAKING be a good idea? I realise those kinds of cars are probably a little more difficult to drive than your average sedan, but I think a few lessons in a wide open space may have been a good idea first!

And Dilligaf - bling for that! I love the idea of a really small font for a long headline!

Hahahahaha!! Ilike the comment underneath...

"I'm in tears..this is almost as bad as watching a pre-school burn down...a pre-school filled with baby koalas."

If I were the owner of the Enzo, I would still be crying. I cant believe he actually referred to himself as undercover brother!! It was extremely hard to actually get an enzo, apparently you had to be invited to purchase one by ferrari.

So invited that when they offered JK (Jamarqui-sp?) one he refused, said it was ugly. Then in an interview he was quoted as saying if they made a black one he might consider that, so Ferrari turned up at his house with his request. He has a history of owning fine automobiles and makes a great ambassador for Ferrari.
