Hi all in New Zealand,
U.K. biker here, can anyone help me out with a url where I can find a good colour picture of Graham Crosby back in his Suzuki days as he was my first racing hero along with the late Barry Sheene and King Kenny Roberts. I have searched around the web but cant seem to find a good pic of 'Super Croz'.
Cheers

Interesting I see he's getting his own site developed here http://www.graphicdesigncouncil.com/crosby/ though it says more in Feb 2007 and that's past of course and still under development.

Man was a legend in NZ even when he had a crack at car racing. Spells his name Graeme not Graham.

There's these photos from IOMTT site http://www.iomtt.com/TTDatabase/Riders.aspx?ride_id=3314

There's this one too on a Kawasaki http://www.jbsportsimages.co.uk/crosby.jpg

You seen those? - all from Google search.

Cheers Merv,
and apologies to all for my lousy spelling. He was popular here in the UK also and indirectly I owe him my life as when I was a teenager my purchase of a Kiwi lid (because he wore one) instead of a cheaper Bieffe one meant I came through unscathed in a smash which the cheaper Bieffe lid would not have protected me so well from.

To me he was one of those riders who never quite achieved the consistency that his talents deserved. Actually met him once at Silverstone seemed a really nice guy.

All the best

No worries Nige. I saw him race in NZ in the 70's but I never had a great camera then so have no pics of my own of him. They will be out there somewhere I presume.

Good post Guys, he's certainly my hero from that era - what a Guy! Great showmanship. I met him later at Red Baron when I once hired a bike to break the monotony of driving a cage (6 volt VW) Ak - Tauranga every week for 6 months while working up there. The bike I hired? A mighty XZ550, wow! NOT.
