Met the man himself.
CB and I were summonsed down to The Gate cafe in the main drag of Riviera of the South this arvo.
Had a bite to eat, a coffee, a yarn for an hour or two about all manner of stuff and an inspection of his bike.
The man is even older than I:gob:
Then the man headed north (after figuring where his ignition key went!)moaning about how hard South Island roads were on his tyres.

BTW Pritch, we got no trout BUT got a scad of mushies to have with our (bought)fresh blue cod fillets!:niceone:
