Went into WMC's this morning to see if I could get a wof done for the TLS spoke to Johno and he said leave it here be done in a couple of hours ,then he remembered me from 1 of my many visits and got talking about the Tiger he called one of the reps over[forgot his name sorry ]saying I would like a test ride after the usuall paperwork bikes rolled out front .
Sitting on this bike perfect seats very comfortable both feet flat on the ground ,looks and feels a bit like a big trail bike ie high sitting positon thats until you open her up .
Mt Vics close by so headed up there slow winding twisties ,gearbox took a little to get use but bike only had 174km on the clock but then it didnt long to get the feel for the tiger , the bike pulled up the hill very nicely and the slow and almost stop corners no problem, same with u turns handles great at slow speeds.
Going down from the lookout towards Newtown lovely little road [used by car club for hillclimb] flowing turns some tight and bumpy road the Triumph just soaked it all up in its stride, over taking a little throttle and you go past with ease .
Heading back down the narrow sometimes 1 lane road , having to heave anchors on for some local pulling out on me and yes brakes work very well .
My best part of the ride was here going down steep hill flowing sharp corners, normally going hill slow or fast with weight forward the pressure on the wrists as with my TLS is not very enjoyable but with this I felt so comfortable as to be able to open her up as your leaning back slightly .
Well good things had to end and before I knew was back at WMC, Pete said later on that they still have tweek ecu on bike as had a little miss it came straight out packing crate and on to shop floor ,I didnt even notice seemed fine to me .
Big thanks to Wgton MC's , made my day cheers guys:2thumbsup
