Hi,

I have a GSXR400r not wanting to stay going!
I can start it and leave the choke on and as long as the revs are above 2000rpm it will stay going.
I have pulled out a spark plug and it get spark for a about 5 seconds then it stops with it still turning over. Thus its electircal.
How ever from here i am stuffed!
I have pulled all the plugs apart and CRC them. Did not work. Reason for this is the day it stopped it spent most of that day in the rain.

Oh yeah and if i get this dam thing running properly how do you advance the timing?

Any one had anything similar that might help me or just know what it might be?

Thanks
Stacy

But above 2,000rpm it doesn't lose spark? You have a voltage problem - below about 10.5 volts electronics will shut down, they have a minimum operating voltage.Your job is to find out why it hasn't got that voltage.Put a multimeter across the battery.

Will try that tonight when i get home!

Will let you know the outcome!
