Derestrict a VFR400

my bike is a 1993 vfr400 nc30 i heard there is a way of derestricting the bike without buying one of those m-max derestrictors by screwing around with a wire in the speedo does anyone know what this wire is and how to disable the restrictor?

cant find the website but,
theres a tab on the back of the speedo that switches somthing when the speedo is all the way around, aparently you just bend that tab over so it no longer switches the spark in the back 2 cylinders off.

I did my Jap RC30 like this. Just cut the tab off the side of the induction disc with some sharp side cutters and your problem will vanish.
