Maybe you should look at other means of fun if you don't have money... biking isn't cheap

Yeah it is. About half the cost of catching the bus.

I'm not talking of commuting on a motorcycle... I'm talking of the highspeed fun that is the joy of motorcycling... like that fun stint up the Kaimai's with DMNTD and a whole bunch of others on Saturday... now that is nice uneconomical riding... Now, if I didn't have a motorcycle, I would have another $80 in my wallet since Wednesday afternoon... Yes, I agree commuting on a motorcycle is probably cheaper than public or cage transport, but that isn't what owning a motorcycle should be about...

Well it's still cheaper than doing the same ride in a cage, innit? On Friday, I did GiJoe's previous ride -- $30 in fuel for a whole day of laughing inside my helmet. Still cheaper than most other ways of getting your kicks.
Plus it's bloody cheap to ride when, like him, you don't actually have a bike :innocent:

I don't normally refer to people I'm talking to in the third person :D. I meant Mr McDuck up there, with the `not at the moment' motorcycle.

Painkillers aren't making me any more coherent than usual, either. At any rate we're way off topic
