Not the right place for this I know but Rant and rave gets more hits so on this basis the post is here.

I'm off up to Picton and leaving Chch at about 2.am. Got all packed etc but I forgot to ring up Shell to find out where they have their pumps that have eftpos credit etc. Does anyone know where if there are any pumps at Kaikoura or where bween Chch and Picton for out of hours fuel.

The Mobil servo is open till 9pm and they could have 24hr pumps (eftpos) might be worth a call:yes:

SkyryderCouple of litres in a coke bottle should get you there on a Guzzi should have close to that sort of range, shouldn't it. About 300km from memory

I'm 'pretty' sure the big garage in Kaikoura has a eftpos pump! safe trip :scooter:

You'll find 24-hour gas in Picton (Shell), Blenheim, Kaikoura and possibly Amberley.
