I am trying to find the best/most used site ( I know it is this one already) in the country with a view to looking at getting a RACERS ONLY forum going so we can discuss and pass on idea's to our race commisioner.

It was agreed that it was a good idea and would be looked into (by MNZ). I suggest you follow this up, it might be "just around the corner". Maybe we just need a wider collective to hurry this along. If not, and MNZ propose no action, then sure, running such a rep's forum on Kiwibiker would be great.

If there is an issue ie, Personallity conflict, that is stopping people from posting in this thread, PLEASE re think about it, this is for the good of OUR sport, not for the good of me.

We have an opportunity to create a Racers direct forum, with a direct line to MNZ and our commisioner

Don't let this chance get away, and if you do, just remember in the future when and if you start complaining again, that this opportunity was wasted.

I started this thread to see just how many licence holders were on this site

The reason for that, was to try to arrange for this site to have a racer only forum, so all idea's could be collected, and forwarded onto our road race commisioner, to make his job a little easier.

I some how do not think that 67 people is enough, to jusify having a racers only forum?

The thread has served a very useful purpose. We know now that about 70 KB forum users are MNZ licensed racers.
Perhaps not a forum but certainly anytime a thread has racer issues/problems we can comment to MNZ that this issue/problem whatever is from KB, the site with about 70 MNZ licensed racers. Has to mean something?

I agree we need a forum that is relevant to those it only directly affects, namely licensed racers

Is Kiwbiker too public for the airing of issues maybe, maybe not, but there is a lot of comments from the ill informed and un-affected to be honest.

What ever happens it needs to be a positive, balanced adult approach with personal attacks and whinging left at home in the sandpit where it belongs

However good place to start, looking at the great response so far.
