Ohhh, a very nice example of a Bimota the final Duke DB4 was the nicest the Duke powered Mantra was......... well undecrible.
Attached is a couple of photos of a mates BB1, what a wicked wee bike to ride (fuel tank in the belly pan) My favorite would have to be the SB8R, jap motor in a Iti rolling frame, IMO it dosent get much better than that.

The others don't look so bad, but I always can't help but think of Looney Tunes or Toon Town when I see the Mantra.

Powered by a Ducati 992cc Dual Spark V-Twin (the air-cooled unit used in Ducati's Multistrada, Monster 1000 and 1000 SS), the DB5's frame uses a combination of a tubular chromoly trellis structure and CNC machined aluminum plates, and the swingarm is also a tubular trellis structure. Although no official weight figures have been released, the DB5 is expected to be one of the lightest 1000cc V-Twins ever produced

I also think it looks strange, was it very fast in the races?? or was it more of a bike that people admire for the looks or for that matter lack of looks??
