left work 2 hours early cos im feelin like shit. headed home the usual way, over the wangas motorway bridge [80k zone, and at 5pm, less traffic than going through town] flicked me blinker on to turn left to head back to town towards home. tis a major intersection, with most traffic doing 100k, not 80. stop signs on either side.
see a car come to the stop sign to my right, just as im about to take the turn. car starts moving through the stop sign as im about halfway through the corner. lean a bit harder and scrape through at the same time as the car. manage to glipse her plate out the corner of my eye.
head along through the now 50k zone along the river... going about 40 due to a slow vehicle in front. personal plate is right up my ass. i tap the brake and slow down again [my speed had been unknowingly forced up] car gets closer still. brakes again, harder this time. car backs away and then returns.
as earlier stated, im feelin like shit, and in no mood to have my life put at risk. i drop my foot hard on the brake and almost come to a stop. dunno how close she got, but at least this time she backed away and stayed there. shot away from her a split second after i dropped my foot. i was watching my speedo after having my speed forced, and made sure my needle stayed bang on the 50.

reason i love personalized plates: shes the wife of one of my favourite customers... which means i can have a quiet word with either of them. the husband is a lovely guy, and shes always been friendly. i plan on pinning her, cos i imagine shell get a bit of a fright when she finds out who she was tail gating....

yes, i am wearin the l plate. yes, my brake and tail lights are working, as are my indicators and head light [did a lights check the other night after work] no reason for what she did... specially crossing the intersection right on top of me. she like looked, crept across, looked at me again, and just kept on going. think she expected me to stop.

mine can go faster than that [of course] but with the decent amount of traffic, it was safer not too. [also, the road was yellow dashes on the side, so no pulling over] ive also seen a cop hidden up that way as well.

nope... doubt theyd know it was me. the husband might have, but she wouldnt. [was wearing a scarf, so face would have been hidden]

admittedly, the virago is distinctive, but most customers never see it. shes certainly the type to not notice it [hidden around the side of the building] yeh... ill have a word to her next time shes in. somethin along the lines of "were you following a motorbike on tuesday?" "yes" " why were you tailgating me??" "............." "thought so"

:done:

Bravely done SH, give the woman a bloody good bollocking for being such a pratt. Explain carefully to her why it was such a bad idea, but make it clear for the rest of us would you?
