Hello there i took my shook off today and noticed the heim bushings were all rusted and it looks like the bearings needs a full replacement. Does anyone know about how much it is for a bearing kit for this say all balls or OEM or something. Also does anyone know of a good shop to get a kit from. Cheers

I have done one when I had a 520, they are not cheap and will probably come out in parts (bits).
Do a search on http://ktmtalk.com
They are not to bad to replace once you get the old one out, just clean and grease every thing.

I have the OEM bearing in stock but can't give you a price right now as its 10.00pm and I'm not on my work computer. I will have a price in the morning. I also have the Synergy F Bushing which is cheaper than the OEM heim bearing and will not rust. Give me a call Thursday morning (testing with a customer in the arvo) on 09 832 0153 and I can send what ever you want in tomorrows fast post.

The last All Balls one I had was came as a complete kit (top and bottom), but it had play in it from day one, and only lasted 6 months.
The KTM version cost $65 - and seems to be lasting well.
Make sure you get new seals and spacers to keep water and shite out. The seals are fun to get back in!

Has anyone used a Synergy f bushing before? How good are they did they last?
Do you think the OEM kit is best or the synergy f bushing?

The F bushing works fine and many report it outlasts the OEM heim bearing. Its a simple replacement part. It won't rust and it can be greased. But the OEM bearing can also be greased with Belray Saltwater Proof grease which will not attack the teflon in the bearing despite what KTM tells you.
The main thing with the F bushing is to locktite the bolt with blue locktite (be sure the threads are clean with brake clean first) and only torque it to 10-15 ft/lbs. I've used both, the F bushing did develop a bit of play after some time but I should probably have greased it a bit more often and my bike gets a hard time in the whoops. My collar screw was a little worn as well. Overall it lasted about the same time as the OEM bearing for me, about a year. If I don't grease the OEM bearing within that time, its a rusted mess.
The F bushing is cheaper and easier to fit. The OEM heim bearing is a little over engineered for what it does. I alternate between the two trying to decide which is better. I still have not decided. Currently I'm running the OEM bearing. When it wears out, I will run an F bushing again.
Here is a thread about the F bushing.
