I thought it was Fullbore. of course someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway guy at work was today talking about this very subject of internet forums type stuff and how a survey of Trademe users found that there was a group that are found to be very lonely and bought "Won" stuff for themselves, then derived great pleasure in receiving it in the mail likened it to getting a present from someone .
My question is . How much have you purchased on Trademe ? Cmon honestly
I told him I'm not on the internet too busy.

Couple of terms, so you are technically right. I have always been told its Longbore, so I presume we are both correct.
Last thing I got off Trademe was a computer game a few months ago I think. I can imagine some losers on TM though, lol

Now on this site that is quite sad. For some it is a mid life crisis, for me, my mid life crisis will begin when they try to stop me getting on one.

Yup, Im a sad individual, being 22 means I havent hit my midlife crisis but it does mean I've given up as much as I can to pay for the perfect wedding for my Fiance and also to save towards a house. Ifit means not owning a moorcycle for a few years, so be it.
If you can live for one moment, let it be now, or plan for it, because once that moment comes, enjoy it to all its potential.

Still a pretty good effort Sniper, especially after slowing down once you hit 10,000... :dodge: There are a couple of members with higher posts per day averages than you now. I'm sure KB has given lots of opportunities and friendships etc because you're so active, though. You'll always be the first KBer to reach 10,000 posts no matter what.

Members List ordered from highest posts to lowest (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/memberlist.php?&order=DESC&sort=posts&pp=30). Then a member's profile will tell you join date and number of posts, followed by average posts per day. But I'm quite sure you already knew that!
Actually, I must confess, sarcasm or no, that I was actually wrong anyway. Oh, shot down, in a blaze of... well...
On the first page of members with the most posts at least, Sniper actually does have the highest posts per day count. Only Ixion and Buggy come within striking distance... but still not that close. At the time of posting: Sniper - 14.68 posts per day. Ixion - 13.02. Bugjuice - 12.15.
Whoops.

If you want to spot the up-and-comers in the posts-per-day stakes, you need to look further down the list. The likes of Mr Colapop, for example, may surprise.
And, like many things in life, statistics at face value may also hide The Truth. Mr Pyrocam, for example, has nearly 5,000 posts uncounted on his formal total from just one Pointless Drivel thread alone. These are his contribution to the LOTPIHGAD thread which, being Pointless Drivel (actually there should be another category of thread that subtracts from total post count, but that's another story) do not count, as it were.
Time wasting is indeed relative. Now where's Steven Hawking when he's really needed?

Yeah, I did have a look further on down the list. Monsieur Colapop is making a commendable effort at becoming a post whore (:bleh:), but is languishing on a mere 9.41 posts per day. The_Dover is a bigger whore (10.85 ppd)... Cola's just cuddly (sorry, couldn't resist).
As for PD (and LOTPIHGAD)... yep, some people are pretty busy in there! I don't usually go into PD to browse or post very often (tho the odd post I've made has gone there)... Usually it's only either to a. Catch up on a thread that got moved there that I was still reading; b. Read posts in the Drivel Post thread that were moved out of a thread I was reading; or c. Take the piss out of Indy. :nya:
Still, for Sniper, managing 13,000 posts outside of PD is quite an effort. He's probably got a few in there himself! I'll be happy enough when I reach 1000 posts, but I'm not really too worried, nor am I in any hurry to get there. Besides I type too much in my replies to rack my post count up much. At 1.78 ppd I'm a lightweight!

As an gesture of good faith and boredom, you may have a QRF license if you answer these questions 3....
1, What is your name?
2, What is your quest?
3, What is your favourite colour?
