there a vfr 400 nc 21 i'm looking very seriously at buying.

took it for a ride today engine is great etc. it was in the wet so i was taking it slow went to turn into a street doing 30 kph or so left hander lil countersteer push on the left bar
and it's like it was trying to force itself upright and i don't mean the usual forces this thing was not wanting to lean over, i have not checked the front tyre yet , but the rear was a bit flat in the middle didn't look to bad though, obviously i didn't bank it over to far being not my bike yet and in the wet,

i had to give it alot of countersteer to stop the thing from going straight ahead, so i dunno what the heck was going on , anybody got any thoughts?

i was giving this thing all my might and it would make it through corners just took a silly amount of effort to make it even remotely lean over,

front wheel is straight (watched it as i rode ...tyre was maybe a bit low on pressure (two thumbs side by side pushed as hard as i could moved in maybe 8-10 mm?)

so yeah any help would be great.

Cheers: SM

Tyre pressures would've been one of the first things I checked :)

Low tyre pressure. Give it 41 in the back and 38 in the front cold and take it for another blat.

sounds like the front tyre was a bit flat...

When I had the mighty SRAD guy took it for a test ride and came back saying it wouldn't sit in a corner and kept wanting to pop up. Couldn't understand why till I took it to the garage and found it had 18psi in the front.. back up to 36 and she was sweet.

There are other things to check but that would be your first bet.
