Hmm I have an idea or two but I thought I have another attempt at getting a thread thrown into PD (dunno why the last one was...)

Anyhoo.... I can get my hands on a Starlet engine (yes dear that's the one...) only 1200cc and probably not that strong but the issue is what to do with it...? As I said I have a few idea's - Trike, Off-roader, Mega Rat bike....

I can get some steel and have access to a workshop (with bender and welder etc) so just sorta finking about what other fings you peeps might be thinking of....

If you were to do a hover craft the best cheap engine is a EA82 out a subaru leone from what I hear. Why not get one of those small Dihatsu truck things from a wrekers and wack the cab off and use the frame to make a dune buggy! That or a Trike where the motor and axle stay with the road and the body rolls over top!!!

Don't forget to consult Heath Robinson for some madcap ideas! I'm sure you will find some inspirational ideas from that.

And as for me, I would make a giant LEGO type vehicle, which I could convert as I wanted to! Just thinking of having lifesized blocks of LEGO to change the vehicle around would be so cool!

Just scale it all up and make the pieces! Woo woo!

Have previously entered the "Red Bull Flugtag" (Flugtag = flight day) and won it. It was the last one the had 3 years ago. Those craft are un-motorised...

Entered the "Red Bull Trolley GP" in the domain too - didn't win that one... :(

Given that previous criteria I was wondering about hovercraft (something I've mentioned here before) maybe a flip car would be the go...? A car you can totally flip upside down and drive that way...?

Would require something special done with the petrol feed...?
did you???? i did also (red bull trolly)...... but i think that was the one before.... we came 7th!!!...1st = in speed!!!... we sucked at the entertainment... well i didn't.. but the rest... say no more... ( well i thought i was funny... may have something to do with bourbon though...)

I reckon the next 'big event' could be one of my organising ... and the nightmares that go with it... I reckon though if I can come up with something crazy enough that a company will throw some money at... and get people to sign a waiver excusing all injury and death penalties... it could be a winner!

Red Bull have determined that it takes up too much resource to fund and these things so it'll be a case I "If I want something done I gotta do it myself" I think...
