Awww that sucks. Two bikes with my engine qualify for Vintage Motocross :(

Cool photos. Got to get my arse over there after uni.

I used to have a Cheney identical to the one in your photo, check out the frame number...mine was #75.Even looks like my engine,I built it out of spare parts I had lying around...see how the rocker boxes don't match? One has a hole for a feeler gauge, just the sort of that fits and that doesn't thing I'd do.Those are also early barrels, but the chaincase is later model....it's all coming back to me now.Notice the steel rims, actually high tensile and lighter than the heavy Akronts of the day...20'' on the front.I actually didn't like the bike believe it or not, because I also had a Rickman. The Rickman did big huge rock steady slides, which is what I was (and am) into, the Cheney was more nervous, quick turn and squirt stuff as it was a more modern bike.I fitted a Triumph conical rear wheel to my Rickman - and I notice the black Rickman has a conical Triumph rear wheel.I wonder if my old bikes ended up in Japan?

The white Rickman looks nice with the ''CCM'' look fins.'71 on the head casting would make a '72 production model, one of the last, possibly one of CCM's own,as they bought up all old sock, but without the footpegs on the cases. But it's not the genuine Rickman - the BSA was only a 441cc,too small for open class...so Rickman made their own 500cc top end, barrel and head. The cyl head had vertical valves and a bathtub chamber. Now that would be rare to see,a genuine Rickman BSA 500.

The black Rickman is a 750! Holy shit, you could throttle steer that thing forever!

Yes but the white one was doing the business....he was riding the tops of the berms and it had snap coming of the corner
I am wondering how I am going to beat him next time ..... Dont know ....I think I will rely on the torque of the enfield and the tightness of the track .. and tractor my way round

That's a 79-80 XR250 with different plastics/tank, jacked up back end, 500 swingarm.

Mine has the same front guard though :D
