Hi Folks

We're packing the bikes up this weekend and driving them up from Wellington to Auckland to put on the boat to Korea for our trip to Russia. We're keen to take the bikes to Auckland ourselves, becasue then if there are any customs/paperwork issues we can sort it out right there.

We'd like to borrow a trailer to take 2 crated up DR650s from Saturday 21st April to Sunday 29th April incl. Prefer flat trailer or one with fold down sides fork lift can get in from the side to lift crated bikes on and off.

If you want to be part of our cool project: www.russiantraverse.co.nz we'd very much appreciate it. Happy to give you some beers in return.

Running a pretty tight budget at the moment so any help would be be very much appreciated.

Prefer trailer in greater Wellington region... Not point driving more than an hour or so to get a trailer. Wairarapa, Kapati etc would be ok too.

Bike trailer wouldn't quite fit the bill, as bikes will be crated.

Thanks.

If no one has a trailer available to borrow....

what about hiring one from one of the garages or even hirepool etc..
depending on how long you will be taking it for.

Some have a cage on the trailer and that will secure them more.

Thanks for the reply.

Hiring a trailer for a week is quite expensive.... Will do if no on will lend us one, but our budget is pretty tight. Running about $1200 over budget at the moment, so anything to save some money would be a great help.

Cheers,

Mark

How big does the trailer need to be?
I have one you can borrow if it'll do the job.
