Conditions look OK. No rain on hill at 9am, no wind (just like valencia  ), pretty cold. No rain on radar, just a few light spits on south east coast.

Overcast in town here, but hopefully will stay dry and might lift as day wears on.

Damn work- wish I could go riding. Have fun

Still got to find a :baby: sitter...

If I come I will prob wait down in Featherston by the petrol station for you to ride past maybe, or will just head to Martinbrough.

I got out of the barber's chair in Lower Hutt and got to Rimutex at 11.25 and left at 11.35am, briefly stopped at the top RH and then carried down and through to Martinborough. Spied the old BNZ bank at the town square and popped in, then across to Toppy's [Flying Fish] for mixed berry smoothie.

Left for Lake Ferry at 12.50 then returned via the Featherston alternate East West Access road coming back up the other side.

The V Strom is running sweetly and today managed 210km bringing the bike up to 1732km in 20 calendar days. The neck nut has proven very effective particularly today. Also I am very thankful for the screen that is set at the highest setting the wind is deflecting quite well.

Heads Up and Enjoy

Bwahahaha I had done 1500 km in the first 5 days of having my 600- it was over Easter tho! (and it's not brand new so don't need to run it in as such)

But seriously, glad ya had a good one- Nice ride round the lake  :done:

Thanks for that. Just in from a survey of this Sunday's route. Should be a good ride.
