Parked this morning, in the last available spot I was comfortable squeezing into, in the front row.
I noticed that it would be kind of hard to get bikes out from the back row - a couple blocked by me, but many others blocked by other bikes in the front row.
Does this seem to cause a problem in practice? Or are there usually enough gaps in the front row to get out? Part of the issue seems to be that people parking at the front seem to follow the blue line (no idea what it's there for) rather than the white one further forward, which would allow a bit of a gap between the two rows. Would it help to have a chat to the council and get more clear markings?
What do you do if your bike is parked in? Wait? Move other bikes? Manhandle your bike over the footpath?
