Pretty good. The testing officer was pretty relaxed so that was all good. I'm off to Blenheim to get my 6R to night and will ride it back on Sunday. I can't wait.
Good luck for yours. You'll be sweet

Well I made it back to Christchurch even though it was wet and miserable most of the way down. (How come everytime I get on that bike it starts raining??). I didn't really care though. I was just happy to be riding my bike.
I need to talk to someone who knows a thing or two about suspension though. It wasn't exactly a smooth ride. Everytime I hit a bump mid corner, rather than the suspension compressing the whole bike would shift and sit up a little. I figured the dampening must be too hard but I don't want to fiddle with it and make it worse.

lol, careful. When I went up to napier to pick up my 6R, I slid out in some gravel on the way back and scratched up the RHS fairing. That day, I learned that the fat tyres don't cut into gravel like the skinny FXR tyres. :shit:

congrats on the full licence Tristin. Try this little clip on how to set some basic suspension settings www.superbikeschool.com setting your suspension sag. There was another British site on here someome may remember the thread to that is very good as well. If I find it I'll pm you.

Insurance was sorted but they're taking their sweet time as usual.
I haven't exactly tried Doug. Everytime I get on it it starts raining. I've had one dry ride so far.
On a side note, what psi are you running in your tyres?

beats me, had it serviced and a new rear so the shop sorted it (need to fill up now though)
im thinking 36-38 front 38-40 rear, metzeler something front, conti road attack rear (cant wait for the front to wear down so i can buy a sport attack :D)
