View Full Version : Christchurch Classic Japanese Bike riders..

Calling all enthusiasts of pre 1980 Japanese motorcycles. Our next run will be on Sunday the 29th of April up to the Bealey pub for lunch. Meet at the petrol station on the corner of Yaldhurst and Russley Roads at 0930 am for departure at 10.00 am. If the weather looks marginal phone Mike on 960 2730 or Bevan on 980 3870 before 0830 am to confirm the ride. Below are two links to a couple of our past rides, with pictures etc..New riders are very welcome, you will have a great day out, so get that japper out of the shed and get some fresh gas in it and check the tyres.

I used to have a classic CG125 but I made it into a race bike.

I have a 1985 classic 80's 2 stroke KR250 kawasaki tandem twin but it's too new so I guess I can't ride that either!

Oh well guess you can't win,

You should go anyways, they never seem to take any exception when I tag along in my Mitsubishi Galant ;P. And a fair number of the regulars represent the Kawasaki 2-strokes, so you wouldn't feel too out of place.

BTW, I saw you at Ruapuna and those leathers you have are an absolute thing of beauty. +rep

also good to see the K0 out on the track at the HAGD!!

I bloody well missed this ride as well, and yesterday wouldnt have been a bad day out.

Note to self, pay more attention....
