Huzzah - after being robbed of the $88.20 I have booked in for my restricted next week.
4th of May at 11:15am, so stay the hell out of Takanini!
To anyone else waiting to sit their test in the next short while, good luck folks - not rocket science if you don't ride like a dick.
Lady behind the counter told me she knows of only one biker to fail in the last 5 years, and that was because he lost the tester and just kept going... bwahaha...
Oh how I cannot wait to torch that little plastic yellow thing...

I'm having an official L burning - there will be beer and petrol involved...
Then it's a matter of convincing SWMBO that it would be a good idea to fork out the coin to sit in a class for a couple of nights to cut my restricted down to 3 months... :devil2:

What is it with boys burning plastic?????!!!!!!!
Every time I turn my back my better half is burning plastic. Drives me nuts, smells bad, bad for the environment, bad for the fireplace. Grrrr. He says it's secret mens business and that I would never realize the pleasure it brings. And he's not the only one, brothers, nephews, sons of friends, always 'accidentally' putting plastic on the fire. Grrr again.
Ok, rant over! Good luck, I'd book in for mine, but have more urgent uses for time and money, moving house and all...

I agree with him only this once... this particular plastic is permeated with a hideous EVIL that can only be released through fire... so in a way, I'm doing the world a power of good... honest! :innocent:

Heh, well given that Rosey will be my trusty steed for the event, coming from you that makes me feel a bit more confident! :)
Just got to remember to get out a couple of days before and try to shake some of the bad habits... think it could be time to call... SUPER MENTOR!

I could have had an appointment out east on Monday, but opted to stay local as I am geographically ignorant of the area out that way.
Gasp, does this mean I am slotted in to become (officially) plateless before a renowned 'pootler'?

Seriously, if the route is the same as I did you won't have any trouble. Infact if you fail you should probably stop riding all together.
How's that for a vote of confidence!

Yeah well, I was sitting waiting to pay my coin, and the thought "Zeocen did it..." came to mind...

Hey now, my knowledge on a mechanic's tool names has nothing to do with my ability to be a good rider.
Because if it was, I'd be in deep shit!

There are a swag of slots available that day, many before mine!
I chose that time so there would be less traffic... muhahaha... but there are some early slots, re-book yours and get ahead of me :)

Haha, so true... no, I have always given you stick about the bike, your alarm setting abilities and occasionally your hair sense... but I have said before and with appropriate bribery will say again, your riding is ... *sigh* good...
