DR650 short side stand to swap for a normal length one.

The original owner had the bike lowered and I haven't.

About a year to late, I had to cut SDU's one down.
And now I may have to weld it back up.

I would look for some tube (or rod) of about the right size and weld it in.

Still got it and how long is it? I just got a DR650 and it's still nearly upright with the stand down so think it may have been lowered and long stand left on.

I've since had a play with some normal length stands and I think I prefer the short one even on a tall bike.
Just needs the foot tipping back slightly to put it flat on the ground so it doesn't dig in.
