Pyrocam is organizing a ride tomorrow down SH22 meeting at the challenge petrol station pukekohe 11am tomorrow.

this is a 250 / learners ok (just tell us who you are so you dont get lost :) ) paced ride no dick heads allowed

The distance is around 175km each way so about 350km all up.

Post in here/ PM me for any more info.

Being a poor uni student and what to go on the ride tomorrow.

I have no money so anyone want to chip in and donate a little,

I only need $50 bucks for gas so if a few people chip in $2 it would help heaps.

Thanks

Rm

only if you're retarded.

I studied 35 hrs a week for four years and still worked 20+ to pay the bills.

Mind you, I didn't have any wheels.

$50 for petrol? My bike wouldnt take that much mate. And seriously imdying is right, I know you are studying, but 35hrs a week is fuck all, if you get a job 20 hrs pw then that is just 55 hrs a week in total, I do more than that at work alone quite often, and in addition studying for my next qualification.
It is a good idea that you take the two fidys out, but if you want to ride for pleasure and your hobby, you need to be able to pay for it like the rest of us and not put pressure or guilts on others to pay for you.

My opinion mate, and not a dig at you ok.

pyrocam is organizing it not me. He can't post when hes at work.

My bike is thirsty :(

well 35hrs a week + 70 homework, not a lot of time.

I can only work Fridays and Saturdays, and i'm looking for a job.

Oh well you have to make the decision as to what is more important to you. It's your decision to be at varsity so you shouldn't whinge that you have no money.

I took a rather large pay cut to go back to Uni... but I'm happy with that as it was my decision to go back.

Plenty of jobs out there mate... the local rag has about 4 pages worth every week.

Yes there are heaps of jobs, not too much for 2 days a week on fri and sat, (but im looking, if you know of any let me know)

Its harder cos Im up to 100 demerits so it has to be somewhere close to a bus or on the north shore.

BUUUUT

lets keep the thread on topic plz, and don't let cam ride alone

(the bit about asking for $$ is a troll, I realise I won't be able to go on the ride,)

$50?? My car would do it in less than that, and it's a rally bred machine :gob:

I'd love to go on the ride, but my bike is not here yet

The Pastor
24th April 2007, 19:24
its old and heavy and yes the carbs are screwed, I did spend 600 for a tune up (and another 200 for parts :S:S:S ) but there was a mixup and I got the wrong parts :( :( :( so I wasted all that money trying to fix it.

I have the parts atm but no way I can spend that kinda money getting install + tune lol.
