Guess this is a survival skill,

Sneaky speed camera parked on the side of the NW motorway this afternoon, in surprise surprise, a spot which I've never seen an accident.

It was hiding under the bridge for the Rosebank onramp snapping eastbound traffic.

Hidden behind a large sign which just happened to be the same colour as the tax van. Mr Bel had you miles away.

His other sneaky position is between the Rosebank/Patiki offramp and onramp at the brow of the hill between two trees.

Or my personal favourite, hidden in the trees, city bound between the waterview on and the zoo off, during the day time.

I've been travelling that stretch of road for 15 years and only ever seen one accident during the day, where a person had a heart attack and ended up in the same trees.

they used to regularly have a patrol car on the rosebank road on ramp zapping people heading into town. It REALLY put a squeeze on the amount of usable road for people getting on to the motor way.
