i go to get some much needed ZZZ's and wake up to read this one would hope he thought about this before he came public and that he didn't make this choice in the heat of the moment and getting in first before a bitter NZ public called for heads to roll but in saying this sounded like it was on the cards cause Simon Doull did mention this after the match end of an ear one would say but...

I'm not denying that Dan Vettori will be first choice. But should he be? He carries enough of a load with this bowling and he also has a fragile back.

I think Vetorri is too dodgy a player to be captain, i mean great experience and he suer would ahve the right stuff, but with injuries and the huge load he already carries.

What about Brendan McCullum?? Experience, still heaps of years to come

I don't it would be a good for Vettori to be captain - I don't see how a slow bowler can command a place in the side...and for that matter a fast bowler. A batsman on the other hand can as could a wicket keeper.

Fleming shouldn't remain in the one day side either. Too many complications, old captain new captain etc. Need to make a fesh break. Have some new blood and start the build up to the next world cup.
