Packaged up the scramblers forks today to send to Robert at Ohlins.
A 9.2kg box from Hamtown to the Naki.
NZC qouted $56:gob:
Fastway charged $22.50:yes:
Thank goodness for active competition. (both overnight,trackable)

I'd stick to CourierPost mate. Farceaway are hopeless.

dang thats expensive... we send packages (upto 10kg) anywhere in NZ for $10 admitly its not overnight service but classed as a 2 day service, 99% of the time its on the door step the next morning

Seemed over the top. Maybe the carton size bumped it up. 800 x 400 x 100.
Packed it full of bubble wrap and shredded paper. Spent 6mths casual driving for courier post a few years back. Saw some badly damaged parcels. Why place something, when chucking it in is faster!

Yep.. I agree.. NZ Post are hard to beat for price!!!!! :yes:
I have sent bike TYRES via NZ Post.. last one cost $7.95!!!! (from ChCh to Nsn) Even a tent AND 2 bed rolls was still only $7.95!!!! :yes: (all under 10kg within the Island)
Pick up their brochure at the postshop to keep at home!!
Stuff couriers!! too damn expensive!!! :shit:
