hiya im riding to my first rally in the weekend and was wondering how others felt befor they rode to there first rally???
and would i looklike a complet muppet going with L plate attached???
i been to rallys and enjoyed them :rockon:

Go and enjoy...............dont worry there will be far stupidier looking people than you there.........everybody started at the beginning.........enjoy

.. but Rossi mate I thought you did OK not crashing in the Rally of NZ so you shouldn't fear rallies any more. You don't have an L plate on your M1 so why on the Rebel? Is Colin Edwards going with you I hear he likes his beer?

I would be very wary of patched KB'r gang members, your bike will probably end up on the bonfire and you could even end up pregnant or pissed.

Go, enjoy yourself. There's no problem with 'L' plates at rallies, done it a few times myself.

And have a couple of beers for me, since I won't be making it.

I take it you are going to the Beamont rally... there are a group of us going down on the Saturday from DN

Anyone that gives a rider grief about an L plate is a dickhead and while (unfortunately) the worl is full of dickheads you should not be concerned about their opinions... Ride - enjoy

Everybody "started" at some point.. some earlier.. some later.. :whocares: the only thing that matters.. is that you are getting out there & DOING it!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yes:

I am off to my 45th (ish) rally today.. (& it's ferkin PISSIN down here.. :shutup: ) Won't be long & you'll have clocked a heap of em under your belt too!! I was nervous as hell the first time.. & went by myself too.. soon got talkin to people & had a great time! :2thumbsup

I was nervous as hell the first time.. & went by myself too.. soon got talkin to people & had a great time!

Hey I was just the same, went to the Brass for three years on me own, just meandering around and chattin to whoever... thats what it is all about uh.
And every rally I have been to since, you can see there are plenty of people in the same boat.:whocares: :rockon:

that not really tell me if yas are meeting up somewhere and what time
nh im thinking along the lines of leaving about 11ish and just taking my time as i havent riden in wet conditions

Rossi take your time if its raining.....well done too cause now youll be a hardned rally goer!!!As far as worrying about ya L plate....just remember that a rally is a place where its about being a motorcyclist and you can stand out as an individual in your own right and be proud!!Its a place where everyone has the same thing in mind so go and ENJOY!!!!!:rockon:

yay i survived had gr8 ride to rally and back enjoyed the night alth need to ether drink less or v and headake pills lol
now i be itching to get out for more rides thinking mayb ride up to oamaru next weekend to catch up on a mate
ink next rally will be pissed pinguin :scooter:
