The world hopes, anyway.

If I lived in Ohio, I'd vote for this guy.

Dennis doesn't have a hope. I really like him too, but politically he is a little naive.

He's been called out by Jon Stewart and David Letterman for policy flip flops in the past and he always takes it with humour and grace.

Cheney would respond to the same sort of criticism by having another heart attack and raising global oil prices.

some might say patriotism .. some might say treason ..Well, what do you think? You are probably the only one here who is entitled to strong feelings on this. Do you think Cheney should be impeached because of him (Allegedly) misleading people about Saddam? I don't want to start a shit slinging match with you, I'm just curious.

at the start of the WoT.. president Bush stated quite clearly ..

"you WILL be lied to"

i think it goes deeper than Bush/ Cheney etc .. this is something out of the Joint Chiefs/ CIA/ NSA etc .. Bush / Cheney are and aways will be sock puppets

Every former US President has the constitutional right of a daily CIA Briefing ... Bush Sr is the only one who has availed himself of that in the history of the law.. if you will look at Bush Sr's inner circle and draw a line to GW .. same people ??... think Big G. is pulling a few chains ?

the US has a system of Checks and Balances .. we have 3 Branches of Government .. the Legislative, Judicial and Executive branches.

goes something like this ...

The system of checks and balances is an important part of the Constitution. With checks and balances, each of the three branches of government can limit the powers of the others. This way, no one branch becomes too powerful. Each branch “checks” the power of the other branches to make sure that the power is balanced between them. How does this system of checks and balances work?

The process of how laws are made is a good example of checks and balances in action. First, the legislative branch introduces and votes on a bill. The bill then goes to the executive branch, where the President decides whether he thinks the bill is good for the country. If so, he signs the bill, and it becomes a law.

If the President does not believe the bill is good for the country, he does not sign it. This is called a veto. But the legislative branch gets another chance. With enough votes, the legislative branch can override the executive branch's veto, and the bill becomes a law.

Once a law is in place, the people of the country can test it through the court system, which is under the control of the judicial branch. If someone believes a law is unfair, a lawsuit can be filed. Lawyers then make arguments for and against the case, and a judge decides which side has presented the most convincing arguments. The side that loses can choose to appeal to a higher court, and may eventually reach the highest court of all, the Supreme Court.

If the legislative branch does not agree with the way in which the judicial branch has interpreted the law, they can introduce a new piece of legislation, and the process starts all over again.

i personally do not believe that Bush / Cheny are anything but figurehead leaders for Special Interest Groups.. if said Special Interest Groups have THAT much power.. think they could stop an impeachement like turning out a light?

end of the day here .. Saddam HAD to go .. WMD's or not .. He and his sons and inner circle murdered, raped, stole, tortured and kept the Iraqi people under the thumb for decades . yes .. we MAY have been lied to about the reason for war .. but the war had to happen..

Saddam was given 48 hours to get him and his sons out of Iraq. Bush had an opportunity to cal in an air strike on his location before that time was up and he WAS in the location . the war would have ended before it started . Bush told the Joint Chiefs that he gave his word on the 48 hour deadline and he intended to kep it .. when the deadline came and went .. Saddam realized that he was going to be out of office either way and dead either way .. why not stand and duke it out?.. shame about the innocents in the crossfire

Those machines, those people building them. It's almost as if they are created to perpetuate the impression a legitimate election is taking place.
