Dumbass official parts dealers. I hates them I do precious. I guess they are contractually obligated to sell Official Suzuki parts or something but DAMN that's a huge markup.

Hi there just thought I would pass on this info in case anyone else has the same problem as me this week.
The indicator relay decided not to play on my bike this week and off I went to my local Suzuki Dealer to purchase a new one,a very nice man looked deep into his flat screen crystal ball and said "aint got one""but Suzuki have that will be a hundy and thirty bucks"
I stood there silently for a while wondering if I had stepped into some kind of time warp machine where the entire limit on my credit cards would now only buy me a cup of coffee, then thanked the manager of the Bank of Suzuki and retraced my steps back to the reality of the carpark.
Just to be on the safe side I then went and ordered a coffee from the local wild bean cafe, the coffee was in fact the same price as yesterday which was very reasuring and led me to the conclusion that Suzuki were in fact operating on a different planetary financial system to us mortal earthlings, or that the Manager of that particular bank of Suzuki thought that because I spoke with a funny accent, I was indeed an alien, and that I would quite happily part with $ 130.00 for $2.00 worth of electrical componentry, to be able to legally fly my spaceship home and not realise I had been stitched up untill I was back on terra firma on planet Zog.
Well they got that wrong !!!!
After my coffee I went down to Browns bay and asked the Manager of the bank of Repco if he had a component simular to the faulty one in my hand, his flat screen crystal ball is obviously linked to a different monetary exchange rate mechanism and spat out a very reasonably priced alterative component made by a company called Narva. I handed over my $11.00 and kept my hands firmly on the handle bars of my spaceship all the way home using my indicators with gay abandon.(I use the word gay in a very heterosexual way you understand)
So if anyone is still awake when you get to the end of this post my point is......If you have a two prong flat spade connector thermal flasher unit relay and it packs up get one from Repco !!!
I hope this helps some one somewhere with a funny accent like mine.:done: :done:

I would personally recommend you take the relay apart and see where the fault is. 90% of the time it's corrosion and if it's just of the solder point of the wires a few minutes with a soldering iron would sort it out...
If that fails take it in into an auto shop and I'd imagine they wouldn't have any problems finding you a replacement.
Secondly, are you sure it's your actual relay and not a blown bulb? Be sure to check your indicator switch, the contacts get corroded (as most things do) and would need a decent cleaning with a file to get them back to full operation.
EDIT: Blar... just read your second post. disregard.
