Hey people, was hoping I could get as many people as possible to post up what you're bike is doing rpm wise at 100km/h.

My KLX250 has 14/42 gearing and does around 7k @100km/h with a redline of 10,500rpm

Please post your revs and 100km/h and your bike's redlind

Thanks
Gazza

3.5k at 100kmh in 5th with redline one the tach at 9.5k.

Though the engine has no red line to speak of and can run clear through it up to the 11k mark before it has no more power to give.

The FJR does 3,500rpm at 100kmh in top gear (I understand that at 8,000rpm in top gear on the East West Road it does 240kmh rated, but could not possibly confirm this).

Mrs H's new GSF650S does 5,000rpm at 100kmh in top.

You've probably got a larger rear, or smaller front sprocket. That does seem a tad high.

whoops I shoulda checked what it was before I quoted my cbr (was a bit silly)
http://www.motorbikes.be/en/compare/2623/631/
especially since your a single cylinder.

my opinion though, when I had a single cylinder (rgv150) I wouldnt be fussed if I was cruising at only 2/3rds of your range

edit:
that site says your bikes optimal power and torque are around that so I think your safe
