Where can I get new rear shocks from?

My partner has a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 1994 model and it needs some new shock absorbers for the rear. I've looked on the internet and can't find much. The bike has Showa ones fitted at present but they need replacing asap. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Thanks

Google the 'IKON' brand name and the HAGON name. Either may make a replacement

Hagon do a pair for a '96 Vulcan.

However if you look at the site, http://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/main1st.htm, you should be able to use the charts to find a shock model that is the correct length with the correct mounting adaptors. Hagon can do different spring and damping rates, and they do a lovely range of "cruiser" shocks that have chrome shrouds.

An alternative is ringing Cycleworks and seeing if they can rebuild the Showas.

Give the Hagons a go. I replaced the rear shock on both my GS' with one and was very happy. With the strong $ at the moment it may even work out cheaper than having your Showas rebuilt!

I have just received my Scrambler forks back, (getting Ohlins springs and emulators fitted, plus new Ohlins rear shocks.)
The turn around is quick. He answered all emails quickly and gave a wealth of verbal knowledge.
I have a Hagon rear shock in my 95 Triumph Daytona. It's a good product, but in my humble opinion, Ohlins beats it hands down.
Yes, Ohlins maybe more expensive, but if you average out over 5years running, I bet the Ohlins gear is more cost/customer competitive.
