1.02.62, as your best lap around Pukekohe on a 600, is extremelly good dude! And I trully believe, if we went back to Puke next week for a test day, you would be into the 1.00 range easily

It was a total plessure working with you, and thanks to Sue for the help in the pits.

I have never even watched you, before yesterday on a bike at a track:gob: I just kept hearing how good you were on a bike, and our very own good mate Speedmedic, has pushed for you for a long time now, and as far as I am concerned, we will be racing together this year!

Your feed back was exellent, your approach, and attitude was a dream to work with.

See ya next weekend

Nice one Jimmy. Get a podium in the next official race and I'll chuck in some fresh rubber for yah.

Edit: Thought I should qualify this. "Get" means an official place 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Stealing the podium and bringing it to Auckland in the back of your van does not count.

Well, where the hell do I start?

There's so many people I need to thank wholeheartedly for the opportunity given to me over the weekend. To actually spend a whole race day on a real race bike is nothing to be sneezed at but to have it prepared and set up specifically for you, by someone who KNOWS what they're doing and be mentored by a racer with Shauns experience and knowledge, is nothing short of priceless.

I'm forever in both Speedie and Shauns debt for that. If it goes no further, I'm still stoked.
The fact that I managed to make constant gains and improvements throughout the day proves to myself more than anyone that I'm heading in the right direction.

To everyone who lent a hand or a word of encouragment, a masive thankyou. Nicko and TS both gave me "on track" advise which helped immensly, but Shaun explaining to me ways which may help me think better made the biggest difference.

I'm still a bit overwhelmed to be honest but I've worked out over the past 24 hours where I'll be able to gain at least a second.

Roll on phase two!!!!!!!!!!

Shaun; i have to say; good on you. Teaching, mentoring, helping, tutoring and passing on knowledge is exactly what we need for the bigger picture of road racing to succeed. Your openess and willingness is inspirational. We all appreciate it :)
