It's a totally controlled event  everything from scooters to full dress tourers do the run ;) you must have ridden your Magna around the Harbour Bays before?

Ive been up Dyers Pass and over the hill by the turn off, then down and left all the way to Lyttleton.

I'll be keen to earn my first rally badge.. although I hesitant to put it on my jacket. Might just put them on a commemorative cloth haahha

I want a big group photo of everyone together.. to show the fellow who made a comment I'm in a biker gang. :)

Many many badges. I need a new hobby.. the "military gang" thing has bored me and I became not welcome for saying they were a bunch of disorganized louts :innocent:

I'm gonna see if I can get my cousin to come. He's got all the shitz. Haven't you see my profile pic? He took that.

Maybe not everyone, but fitting in 100 people would be bitching.

Hi dyers.. the run itself doesn't actually go up & down hills.. it goes through the Lyttleton tunnel & then winds it's way around the bays to Govenors Bay.. so you'll be sweet as!! Plaims MC would love to have you there!!!! :scooter:

It's a "charity run" badge.. but a badge all the same.. stick at it & you'll soon have something like these...

the brown board is charity runs & Plains MC runs.. (I've been a member for 14 years!!) & the black board is rallies.. still I still have a heap of sew on patches in a drawer also..

If you want badges you need to join the african eagles

Easy to spot on the road they have big eagles on there back of there denim jackets.

They are a bunch of homo safa's who forgot which country they are in.

Should we order more badges...............I bloody hope we have to if the weather is fine, could be a good turn out.

Just look for the big ugly bugger with the custom painted GSX1100 with the official looking top box.:innocent:

The run is gentle for all and a real buzz when we all go through the tunnell.:shit:

We often head round to the Weatsheif for a drink before heading home via Gebbe's Pass.

Be nice if it get's it over with early, i got big lazy raindrop spits here now but big drops are the easiest kind to ride in, none of the problems like you get with fine sticky drizzel.
Think positive and wear ya leggings. At least its warm and not windy.

Its just raining a little bit over in diamond harbour as well. I think it will burn off over the next couple of hours.

Don't be fooled by them there clouds. They are the NW arch - look threatening but generally mean warm weather. There may be a few drops squeezed out but nothing of consequence. That's my call anyhow.

Will try to get there by one. Me - all black GS with KB sticker on the back. Dressed in cordura and leather and have never been told I look like Tinkerbell. Could be a go to suggest a corner of the carpark for KBers to meet up but I haven't been on this run before.

Great seeing the kids faces as we rolled down the driveway :gob:
Well sorted day by the P.M.C :Punk:
Think I heard $800 raised & handed to the home :niceone: along with the assorted gifts it was a pretty good effort.

A fairly well stocked number of KBers present as well, good to catch up with the ones I managed too

Great day for a ride with perfect weather :sunny: Though playing silly buggers with Jules from the PMC on the way to the wheatsheaf meant the bikes recently fitted panels are now sporting scuff marks on the leading edges:doh:

Shame didn't get a chance to catch up before you took off :bye:

Apparently there were 50 badges made for the run but there are going to be another 30 odd produced to cover the people who paid but didn't receive one, gman49 will be able to confirm

There should have been a list happening, collecting names & addys for badges that had been paid for, so they can be sent out when more are made. Did you write ya name etc down when ya paid??? Any queries, pm Steve: gman49!!

The whole idea of these forums i thought was so we didn't have to keep sending everyone individual messages about events.
If you want to come along then log in and check the meetings and events more often. I posted about it on 30th April (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=48959) and this thread has been live since 2nd May. You've had a week to discover it, why didn't you check on Thursday night or Friday to see what the weekend had to offer? That's what most others do, if not more often.

We went to lyttleton after the Cholmondeley ride, grabbed a drink, went down to the boats, she wouldnt let me throw her in... so we went into town to look at the nature place in the square only to find it cost $14, so we went back to my place and grabbed a few things, then went back to her place....

and watched some dvds.

Not bad considering I only met her yesterday :P

Nah, I used to work at a radio station for a little while and she always txted in requests when I was doing my show. Also she liked my band and had heard some tracks online. So I happen to be on MSN the night before the run and she came on and I invited her along. Surprise.. she said ok. So picked her up and met her for the first time. hahaha

I treat my fans well :)
