Hey man! When did you get the VTX? Sold the CB or still got it? You'll have to change your profile pic and post a couple pics of the new bike!

Done nearly 2500km on my C50T now and it's running real sweet! See my thread, "Suzuki v. Harley"!

Hey dude, you can try : http://www.zpower.com.au/

or you can try http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/

I found the cruiser customizing to be a lot cheaper when converted back into NZ dollars.

Good luck in your search.

Cool! So many seem to be flying to Chch and riding bikes back, these days!

Yeah, the torque of those 1800's makes a bar kinda neccessary! LOL! My wife feels very secure having the back rest! (Of course, the 800 wouldn't quite take off like the 1800...!)

Cruisers are so different to ride, eh? As much as I miss the GSX-F for playing on, the C50T just makes me want to ride every chance I can get. And the Missus wants to ride with me now, too, instead of me having to talk her into it.

At first glance I thought you wrote "Instead of me having to talk to her"

LOL!!! Nah, the next accessory I have to buy starts with "Inter" and ends with "com"! She reckons it'll be better than pounding on my shoulders and yelling at me!

What does she yell, I hear you ask? In traffic, it's stuff like, "Why can't you follow that bike lanesplitting?" "I thought you said bikes were better in traffic?" and, (this one usually does the trick), "Let ME drive!!!!":gob:

Inter + com ? man are you serious ? they talk enough when we stop as it is:gob:
she will become a genuine backseat driver :dodge: Word of advice though, muttering ":shit: where did the road go" into the intercom doesn't do much for her confidence in you. or for your ribs for that matter ;) :argh:

LOL!!! Nor does the exclamation, "Oh, Hell! Here we go...!" When you have one of those sphincter-puckering 'moments' on an unfamiliar corner that you have just realised you've slightly overcooked...! :innocent: Didn't have the intercom then, but the footboards grinding kinda still gave the game away...!

See if you had highway pegs that wouldn't be a problem :nono:
