EDIT: Will try to get some pictures up in the weekend.

$7950 ono

After a huge wrangle with the insurance company, I've finally got my bike back!! And now it's for sale.

The bike got backed in to by a car about 9 months ago, cracking the front and side fairings and scratching the exhaust. After a long string of miscommunications and fuck ups, it is now back in my hands with a freshly painted (by Reflections) front fairing and rear tail piece, as well as the left side fairing, new engine cover, new mirrors, new RapidArt crash bungs, new exhaust mid pipe, re-finished exhaust can.

The only thing that it is missing are the decals on the front fairing. These would cost about NZ$150 to get in from overseas (try www.yamahaoftroy.com for example). I could make this bike absolutely mint myself, but I can't be fucked after such a long saga trying to get it back, and I want the money now to pay off debt so I can ride my race bike more often.

I'm anal about the mechanical health of my bikes, and keep them well serviced. In the 10,000 or so kms that I've owned this, it's been serviced by Red Baron once, Spectrum once, and I've done an oil change too. I believe that I have receipts at home for this work.

This is a really great bike for the road. It's more comfortable by a long way than most modern sportsbikes, and its low COG and peg placement make it good in the super-tight twisties like on the Coromandel and such.

Extras that the bike has:
-Two Brothers Full System
-Power Commander PC3
-SuspensionTech Front fork internals ($1000, have receipts, I also have the old parts to go with the bike, but the current stuff is far superior).
-HEL braided brake lines (with proper certification, so no problems at WOF time)
-Intergrated clear tail light
-Smoke double bubble windscreen
-handy tilting number plate
-flush mount front indicators
EDIT: Almost new Pilot Powers

As I haven't had it in my possession for so long, the WOF has expired, but it should get one easy. The only hang up would possibly be the front indicators, but I will chuck in some oxford minis which have the required numbers to pass (or you could just find a sweet place who are pragmatic and will pass it as is with the flush mounts). I'll sell it with new rego if sold at the asking price.

Any questions please ask, or call me on 029 201 2473.

It's goin cheap 'cos the new owner will need to get some new stickers for it, and will have to go get a WOF for it (which may or may not involve changing over the front indicators), and 'cos I wanna sell it soon to pay off debt.

Only two enquiries for the bike...quite surprised at that, guess people put a lot of value on a bike having a WOF or not.

Props to the man who scored himself a sub-$8k 'Blade...which was sold with a new WOF in the end anyway.

Sweet Feral1, glad to hear that he got the bike home alright, and he's enjoying it. And yeah, that 2Bros pipe sounds the death once the revs get up.

Same to you about the racing. Might run in to ya at the next Nats :niceone:
