Got a hole in my tooth a while back which is now a cavern, and it's driving me nuts. Stuff gets stuck in it, it hurts like road rash and my love of Coffee is waining due to the pain it causes

Can anyone recommend a Dentist in Cambridge or Ham's that

Won't require to mortgage my house to fill the cavern
Won't fondle me whilst I'm dizzy from all the drugs
Will be gentle on me............ I'm not fond of pain....... :crybaby:
And has puurty assistant types to dribble over

Go to A&E they usually have a DHB dentist that they can refer you to.

No no no no no! Tried that once before years ago, a mate said go to A&E early morning and get to the front of the Dentist que, I arrived at 7am and was 324th in line!

I would rather pay, just want to keep my bike and or house if possible.

Plus I'm a snob, don't want to be hanging around with all those poor people,,, ewww yuk!

So go along to a dentist. They only cost about $70. I'm broke and I'd still pay that. That pain that's inside you head.... not good...

I got bad news for ya mate. It's likely to cost from $500 to $1500 to get rid of that pain.

Good thing is, when the pain is gone you don't really mind about the cash!

So are you one of those bloody desntist types eh!

I'd rather $150 for them to pull it. I've got a few more, so no big deal.

Try Dr Dominic Chong. Lumino Dental Limited. 34 Market St. Te Awamutu
I have had tones of work done on my crappy teeth over the years, by a lot of different dentists.

I will travell any distance to have this guy work on my teeth - ulta modern techniques, gentle and not much pain at all, I'm actually geting confident going to him. He has a way of putting in the injection, to numb it, with out hurting. Talanted and careful.
Not bad eye candy with the assitant (if you get the right one)

I tell ya dude if you can get your hands on Paradex its a great painkiller until you can get it done. I had four wisdom teeth cut out and swear by the stuff but I'm not too sure you can just get it over the counter

Swill some 'neat' whiskey around the tooth. Instant painkiller.

I've just had a truckload of fillings (5!) done at garden place dental.

They don't charge too bad, and my dentist (Kevin Peng) is pretty onto it, and gave me a student discount even thou I'm not a student cost I was broke.

And he used to ride a bike (he still has it in his garage, a good old GN250 lol).

Paradex made me vomit.. Also gave me mean as stomach pain.. Can't buy it over the counter..

Try chewing cloves (think thats right) Its meant to help big time...

Anyway at the end of the day just bite the bullet and get it pulled asap.. I know its pricey but you'll be much more comfortable in the long run...

Also.. Have you tried gargling salty water?
